We here at Imagine are focused on our community and on bettering it with your help! From donating supplies, to getting your hands dirty and building a house you can help! Below are some pictures and descriptions of the kind of opportunities that could be available to you and your group! Something simply may seem small to you, however, it has monumental impacts on the lives and the families that are receiving this blessing. You will get to meet the family that will receive your help and they will, right along side you, work to make this world a better place!
A place to call home is one something we each treasure. Rebuilding a better home for a family in Palave was a blessing and had a profound impact on the children that reside there.
New Homes
The best thing we can provide you with is a desire to do more. In order to do so we take a walk down some of the historical and significant streets here in the Dominican. Take a stroll with us and check out the different styles, different time periods, and different culture you can submerge yourself into during your time here!
Exploration
Connecting with the community is something we stress here at Imagine. We want you to form relationships that will outlast the souvenirs you purchase. We desire to provide you with experiences that will last a life time. Visiting with children, providing them with a meal, and seeing the smiles on their faces is a memory that has an impact and that can change lives.
Food Time
Sometimes the best way to achieve something difficult is to make it into a game. Here at Imagine we are excited to have you excited! Play some street baseball with kids, watch them seesaw or swing on the brand equipment you put in! We recently had a team from global glimpse stop by and help us renovate a playground for the children in Palave. Murals and swings and seesaws and hopscotch are just a few things that are the perfect addition to the lives of the children here.
